Do you provide helmets?
Yes, we provide complimentary helmets on all tours and rentals.
All helmets comply with international standards and are cleaned and checked before each use.
However, for reasons of safety and comfort, we advise our customers to bring their own helmet.

Do you offer advice to travelers?
Yes, we are happy to support your plans by giving you some suggestions of routes and walks you can take in this region.
We also share some of these suggestions on our website and digital platforms, which you can consult at any time using your cell phone.

How does an electric bike work?
An electric bicycle works just like a “normal bicycle”,
But its motor helps you get going by giving you an extra boost.

How many kilometers can I do with an E-bike?
The amount of kilometers you can do can vary depending on your weight, whether you use the maximum assist all the time, the wind, the type of terrain, the increase in altitude and the weight carried on the bike.
The battery life of our e-bikes, depending on the above, can range from 80km to 100km.

Do you supply extra batteries for the E-Bike?
We believe that carrying extra batteries is not an effective solution, so we don’t supply extra batteries. Batteries are heavy, not very practical to carry around and the extra weight will cause the battery in use to run out more quickly! Batteries are also very sensitive and the safest way to transport them is in their corresponding place on the bike!
However, in case you want to do more kilometers than the guaranteed range, or rent the bike for several days, you can take the battery charger with you. This is exactly the same as a computer charger (for example) and you can plug it into any electrical socket.

Can I take a guided tour?
To learn more about the local culture and the secrets hidden in the Aveiro Region, we recommend that you do. You can contact us at info@ecotrip.pt and schedule a tour with one of our local guides. A private tour is often a good option for small groups looking for a personalized experience.

Can I rent your e-vehicles for several days?
Yes, you can rent any of our vehicles for several days. Our vehicles, being electric and with easily removable and chargeable batteries, are an excellent option to renting a car. As well as giving you more autonomy, you can get to places a car can’t, you can charge your vehicle in your hotel room and you keep your ecological footprint low!
